Something a Little Different

No weddings this weekend, instead I spent a couple of hours on Saturday morning photographing Lane Cove Aquatic Centre in Sydney.
The centre is under new management and they have recently made some great improvements. Starting with the gym…

Then onto the swimming pool. The challange here is to make the centre look busy by showing lots people in the images, but at the same time you don't want to be able to eaisly identify anyone.

Jayde & Troy's Wedding

Jayde & Troy were married at the Briars Country Lodge in Bowral NSW. It’s a great venue for the ceremony and reception if anyone's on the lookout. The Briars turned out great especially after Jayde’s first choice of venue decided 8 weeks ago that they weren’t doing weddings anymore!

A 4:30pm ceremony and the sun setting at 5:30pm meant it was a little rush-rush before we ran out of light. The photos turned out really well and the full gallery will be online by Thursday.

This was the best 'bridal' entrance I have seen, very cool.

Love the attitude!The briars had the coolest garden chairs with this strange yellow moss growing all over them.

Walking into the sunset, this would make a great canvas.

Bec & Dave @ Hamilton Island

We had a great few days up at Hamilton Island photographing Bec & Dave's wedding. The sun and sand made a perfect change to our normal wedding routine.

I love this shot, the reflection is from the kitchen bench. What makes it though is the shape the bodies form (like a big 'M') it hold's your eye and makes you look at it for longer.

Slightly drag the shutter so the flowers blur a little.

This light was on the stairs joining the two levels of the reception room.

Bec & Mat's wedding

A few quick images from Yesterdays wedding. It was a little bit of "four seasons in one day" with heat, rain and wind all in the space of a few hours. Photos are looking great though.

A special thanks to bec's mum for letting us rearrange all the furniture!
and for painting the lounge room wall such a funky colour.

Here the reflection is from a small glass topped bedside table, with a little video light on the grooms face to make him stand out from the other guys.
