Kate & Mark, a few more more

Four more from Kate & Mark's wedding. The complete gallery looks like being online by Friday. We will post details when it's up.

This was our last wedding for about 4 weeks giving us a chance to finish off the albums from October and November. We also just received the photos from our own wedding last month, I might even post some here!

To all our future brides and grooms, Merry Christmas from James & Steph and we'll see you soon...

Kate & Mark

It was a warm one yesterday for Kate & Mark's wedding. The ceremony was at Mount Annan followed by a quick drive into Sydney for photos around Rushcutters Bay and finally for the reception at the Vibe hotel.

We will post a few more photos shortly, so be sure to check back later in the week.

During the ceremony.

Looking up with one of the cool looking trees at Rushcutters Bay as a backdrop.

As always the bride looked stunning.

We (or someone) managed to set off the alarm on this building while taking this shot.
Great work guys for looking so calm and collected with the siren blaring in the background.

Nicole & Christopher

We were back in action again this weekend with Nicole and Christophers wedding. Nicole was a bridesmade from a wedding we shot in September last year. The ceremony was at Horsley Park and the reception at Camden Lakeside. It was a great day & lots of fun.

Check back for some more photos shortly...

My favourite shot for the day.
Here we shon the video light through the glass on the front door
creating the cool light pattern on the wall behind.

The challange when photographing a wedding is to try and couples personality in the very limited time available.
I think we got it spot on here, and for some reason I feel like drinking a beer right now...

Simple candid shot as the bride sees herself in her the dress for the first time.

The girls..

Love this one, shot with strong backlighting through the bedroom window.

Iona & Paul's album

Here's a few double page spreads from Iona & Paul's wedding album.

Something a Little Different

No weddings this weekend, instead I spent a couple of hours on Saturday morning photographing Lane Cove Aquatic Centre in Sydney.
The centre is under new management and they have recently made some great improvements. Starting with the gym…

Then onto the swimming pool. The challange here is to make the centre look busy by showing lots people in the images, but at the same time you don't want to be able to eaisly identify anyone.

Jayde & Troy's Wedding

Jayde & Troy were married at the Briars Country Lodge in Bowral NSW. It’s a great venue for the ceremony and reception if anyone's on the lookout. The Briars turned out great especially after Jayde’s first choice of venue decided 8 weeks ago that they weren’t doing weddings anymore!

A 4:30pm ceremony and the sun setting at 5:30pm meant it was a little rush-rush before we ran out of light. The photos turned out really well and the full gallery will be online by Thursday.

Couples always like to know how great they looked, so to all Jade & Troy's wedding guests your welcome to leave comments at the end of the blog...

Love this shot, simple window light.

Great window light, but the twist of hair makes this shot

I asked the page boy to "pull a face for me"....

This was the best 'bridal' entrance I have seen, very cool.

Love the attitude! The briars had the coolest garden chairs with this strange yellow moss growing all over them.

Walking into the sunset, this would make a great canvas.
